Mitch Kalmus
GUITAR, BASS, VOCALS
Mitch has been playing guitar since he was 13, and air guitar since he was 5. When he was 14, his first band "Not Responsible" played for hundreds of people at a street fair in Brooklyn N.Y. Since then, Mitch has been involved in numerous original and cover bands performing and recording genres such as progressive rock, fusion, classic rock, metal, and dance music. His influences include Buck Dharma, Duane Allman, Steve Howe, Alex Lifeson, Eddie Van Halen, Allan Holdsworth, and David Gilmour.

Mike Canavan
BASS, VOCALS
Mike has been playing music since he got his first guitar at age 7. He plays a number of instruments, but the bass has always been his preferred instrument. His early musical influences were multi-instrumentalists such as Paul McCartney, Pete Townshend, and Steve Winwood. Mike also plays bass and sings in the Eagles tribute band, Already Gone, along with three other members of Beyond The Wall. He has played in a number of bands through the years, and has recorded over a half-dozen CDs of original music, performing all the instruments and vocals.

Ray Distephan
DRUMS, VOCALS
Ray has been playing the drums since he turned 13. He began playing and singing in bands in the 1980s. Some of his early bands included the Rush and Triumph tribute band VALOR, The progressive rock cover band PASSAGES, and the melodic rock duo Rhyme & Reason. In 2007, Ray also recorded a 10 original song CD with Rhyme & Reason titled Painted Faces (available on iTunes). Ray's Influences Include Pink Floyd, Rush, Yes, Kansas as well as many other classic rock bands and several more recent progressive rock bands.

David Jameson
KEYBOARDS, EIGENHARP
David’s musical influences include ELP, Genesis, Weather Report, Steely Dan, Yes and Return to Forever. In the late 70s, David played with Time Machine, releasing a hit single in his native Ireland, then left the live music scene for 30 years to work in computer/music technology. He resumed performing in 2010 with Natterjack Toad, On The Case and No Sleep Tonite. He toured with The Security Project performing the early progressive music of Peter Gabriel and was a member of Reelin’ In The Years, a Steely Dan tribute band for seven years. He has been a full time member of Beyond The Wall since 2012. David’s company is behind the development of Gig Performer, a plugin host for live performing musicians. He is also a professor of computer science at SUNY at Purchase, NY.

Tim McGrath
GUITAR, VOCALS
Tim began playing guitar in 1982 after hearing Eddie Van Halen's "Eruption". It wasn't long before Tim started figuring out the guitar licks of other guitar greats like Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck and of course David Gilmour. In 1985 Tim co-founded the band "In Rare Form" which saw many transformations over a 20 year span! From rock and blues to alternative to dance covers, Tim has enjoyed playing many different genres of music.

Maggie MEath
VOCALS
Maggie Meath is a Fairfield County–based vocalist and music theatre performer whose work spans live music, theatrical performance, and ceremonial singing. She performs with Note to Self and Five to One, recorded and performed on the original album Paradise Lost with Gregory Frost and the Dark Arts, and has collaborated with Fairfield Center Stage, Generation Blues Band, Euphoria party band, Beyond the Wall, and others. In music theatre, she has performed leading and featured roles throughout Connecticut and will portray Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar in Fairfield this March. A frequent soloist for weddings, funerals, and special events, Maggie also brings over ten years of experience teaching private voice lessons and works in arts education and performance with Westport Country Playhouse, Fairfield Center Stage, and across Fairfield County. She’s a proud mom of two.

Aaron Dean
SAXOPHONE
Aaron Dean is a saxophonist based in Adams, Massachusetts, known for his expressive, dynamic playing across jazz, funk, and soul-influenced styles. He is the primary saxophonist for Misty Blues and Moondance: The Ultimate Van Morrison Tribute, and has opened for acts including Reel Big Fish, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Digable Planets, and the New York Ska Jazz Band. Equally at home in intimate venues, large theaters, and outdoor festival stages, Aaron Dean brings energy, precision, and deep musicality to every performance.
